The Black Country Living Museum
Established in 1975, the Black Country Museum is a wonderful collection of history and heritage from the Black Country region. There are many buildings and the site now incorporates some 26 acres of residential and industrial property of the time, including live demonstrations and staff in period costumes in the shops and houses. The whole experience is akin to stepping into a time warp. – Distance 12 miles
 
West Midlands Safari Park

Wightwick Manor
Wightwick Manor is one of only a few surviving examples of a house built and furnished under the influence of the Arts & Crafts Movement. The many original William Morris wallpapers and fabrics, pre-Raphaelite paintings, Kempe glass and de Morgan ware help conjure up the spirit of the time. Weston Park

Bridgnorth
Occupies one of the most spectacular inland town settings in England. In 1642 King Charles I described the view from the town as "the finest in my domain". The lower part of the town is linked by a unique cliff railway and is home to the Severn Valley Steam railway. – Distance 8 miles.

Admission is free to the museum in the West Midlands which houses over 70 Aircraft.

Much Wenlock
The beautiful "black & white" town of Much Wenlock is located a few miles south of Ironbridge and has much to offer throughout the year including shops, restaurants & pubs with great food. It was also the home of Dr William Penny Brookes, one of the most influential pioneers of the modern day Olympic Games and you will find many Olympian related artefacts in the local museum and around the town.
